Background:
"I started playing rock music as a guitarist but shortly after joining the band, the bass player quit. The other guitarist and I flipped a coin to see who would be the new bass player and I lost... sort of... the rest is history. I am self taught although I had a major advantage as I played clarinet in the grade school band, which gave me a great musical foundation. I studied music right through high school and 2 years into college."
